Road to Reinvention Conference: Social Awareness & Audience Identification

The Challenge

University California Irvine (UCI) approached Velocity Growth for assistance with pre conference marketing activities and outreach initiatives targeting social influencers for their 2016 Road to Reinvention ConferenceUCI had spent two weeks working with their own communities and social networks to create awareness which resulted in few interactions outside their own team.

The Solution

Velocity Growth did an initial technical discovery of their social footprint and provided a plan to increase social awareness and audience identification. We generated 20 targeted posts with graphic enhancements, trackable messaging, targeted outreach techniques and scheduled distribution that resulted in expansion of social audience interactions (retweets) by more than 300% and overall influencer engagement rose 48% within 8 days prior to the conference date.
